First World title Team Sprint for Netherlands

The Netherlands has won the World title Team Sprint after beating Great Britain in the final. It’s the first time the Netherlands won the gold medal in Team Sprint at the World Championships. Last two years they won the silver medal behind New Zealand.

Terpstra third multiple winner of GP Samyn

Niki Terpstra is the third rider to win the GP Samyn multiple times. Yesterday he won for the second time after his victory in 2016. Hendrik Redant and Johan Capiot are the other two riders to win the GP Samyn at least two times.

Groenewegen seventh Dutch winner of Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne

Dylan Groenewegen has become the seventh Dutch winner of Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne. He’s the first Dutchmen since Bobbie Traksel in 2010 to win the Belgian classic.

Hivert dominates in Tour du Haut Var

Jonathan Hivert won the Tour du Haut Var with a victory in both stages. He’s the first rider since Elia Viviani to win all stages and final classification in a UCI race. Viviani did this in the Giro di Reggio Calabria 2012.
