Third fastest time ever for Tanfield on individual pursuit

Charlie Tanfield did today win the gold medal on the individual pursuit at the Commonwealth Games. In the qualification, he rode a time of 4:11.455. This is the third fastest time ever. Only Jack Bobridge and Chris Boardman were faster in the history. The time of Chris Boardman was ridden with the Superman position, which has been banned.

Australia sets new team pursuit world record at Commonwealth Games

On the Commonwealth Games, Australia has ridden a new World Record on the team pursuit. Leigh Howard, Sam Welsford, Kelland O’Brien & Alex Porter did ride the 4 kilometres in 3’49″804. This time is 0″461 faster than the Great Britain squad during the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016.
